Begur - Costa Brava - Spain
Begur Spain: A pretty coastal town situated between Calella and L'Estartit on Spain's Costa Brava coastline, Begur is a popular holiday destination boasting some of the finest beaches in the region, its 4,000 population increases considerably during the summer months when many holidaymakers arrive to enjoy the fine weather and beautiful coastline.

The attractive old town is overlooked by its ancient sixteenth century castle, its winding cobbled streets still home to old fishermen's cottages, which look much as they have for centuries. Long before even these were built the area was visited by Iberians, Romans and Moors as Begur was established as a town.
